Diagnostic characters
. The species differs from other East Asian members of the genus by having an antenna with 12 flagellomeres, AR 0.52, palpomere 5/ 3: 2.7, superior volsella triangular and inferior volsella low and triangular.

Inferior volsella low and triangular. Transverse sternapodeme narrow, 30µm long; phallapodeme slightly curved, 40 µm long. HR 2.1, HV 3.5.
