Material examined. JAPAN : Honshu, Toyama Prefecture, Futomibashi Bridge of Oyabe River, sweeping, holotype male, 15.ix.1987 , M. Sasa (No. 137: 81). Diagnostic characters . The species differs from other East Asian members of the genus by having an antenna with 12 flagellomeres, AR 0.52, palpomere 5/ 3: 2.7, superior volsella triangular and inferior volsella low and triangular. Additional description. Tentorium 125 µm long, 25 µm wide. Wing length / length of profemur: 2.8. Palpomeres length (in µm): -; 18; 33; 40; 88. Palpomere 2 and 3 ellipsoid, 4 rectangular, 5 long and slender; palpomere 5/ 3: 2.7. Gonocoxite 75 µm long with 3 long setae apically. Gonostylus 35 µm long. Inferior volsella low and triangular. Transverse sternapodeme narrow, 30µm long; phallapodeme slightly curved, 40 µm long. HR 2.1, HV 3.5. Distribution. Japan and Russian Far East.
