Diagnosis
. This species can be distinguished from its congeners by the asymmetrical lateral lobes of the uncus and the asymmetrical valva, and the heavily sclerotized gnathos with a small fin-shaped process at middle on the ventral surface.
Description.
Adult (
Fig. 2
d) with wingspan 11.0 mm. Head creamy white, with sparse pale yellow scales above compound eyes. Antenna with scape yellowish white; flagellum yellowish white and black alternately. Labial palpus creamy white; second segment mottled pale brown on outer surface, with compact pale brown scale tuft on ventral surface; third segment mottled greyish brown scales from basal 1/4 to 2/5, blackish brown in distal 1/4 except creamy white at apex. Thorax and tegula pale yellow. Forewing pale brown; four evenly spaced subovate blackish spots placed near base of Sc vein, at basal 1/3 of cell on upper margin, at both middle and end of cell respectively, joined by arched longitudinal yellowish white band; fold with dense yellowish white scales, with black spot at basal 1/3 and distal 1/3 respectively; fringe greyish white. Hindwing and fringe pale grey brown, two to three times of wing width. Legs creamy white, mixed with greyish brown on ventral surface of coxae and femora; foreleg with tibia and tarsus blackish brown on outer surface, tibia with creamy white strips basally and medially, tarsus with creamy white ring at apex of each tarsomere; midleg mixed with greyish brown scales on outer surface, tarsus with yellowish white ring at apex of each tarsomere; hindleg with long creamy white hairs on tibia, blackish brown at base of each tarsomere on outer surface.
Male genitalia (
Fig. 3
d): Uncus widely bifurcate, broad U-shaped; lateral lobes asymmetrical: left lobe wide basally, narrowed distally, arched outwards, with clustered setae near base, rounded at apex; right lobe with basal 2/5 uniform in width, narrowed from 2/5 to 4/5, distal 1/5 spatulate. Gnathos with basal 1/3 expanded horizontally in sub-ovate shape, distal 2/3 narrower and of equal width, apex rounded; with a small fin-shaped process at middle on ventral surface; culcitula large, ovate. Tegumen divided from near base; lateral branch broad, slightly expanded distally, blunt anteriorly. Valva apically reaching top of uncus, basal 1/3 wide, narrowed from 1/3 to 3/4, with long dense setae throughout distal 1/4; asymmetrical: left valva with clustered setae at basal 3/5, expanded ovately before pointed apex, with a square process at basal 3/5 on ventral margin; right valva wide at base, narrowed to 3/4, with rowed dense long setae at basal 3/5 on ventral margin, distal 1/4 elongate ovate, slightly expanded to before rounded apex. Aedeagus with basal 1/3 expanded, narrowed from basal 1/3 to 3/4, distal 1/4 sharply narrowed to pointed apex.

Etymology
. The specific name is derived from the Greek
