Eucerinoda
Michener & Moure
Eucerinoda
is a probably relictual monotypic genus, which is distributed exclusively in
Chile
(
Michener 1979
). As mentioned by
Michener (2007)
,
Eucerinoda gayi
(Spinola)
, the only known species of this genus, has the paraglossa much shorter than first segment of labial palpus, and gradulus of S2 simple and curved. These characters are unique within
Eucerini
, and justify its placement in its own subtribe: Eucerinodina.
