Diagnosis.
Rostrum nearly as long as body. Notum and pleuron uniformly black. Wing with pale brown spot on stigma; basal section of CuA1 at 3/5 of cell dm, cell a2 relatively broad. Abdomen uniformly black.
Description.
Female. Body length 9.0 mm, wing length 9.0 mm, rostrum length 9.0 mm.

Head. Gray. Hairs on head brown. Antenna (fig. 8) length

. Scape and pedicel black; flagellomeres brown. Flagellomeres except second flagellomere nearly equal in length; second flagellomere short, nearly 2/3 as long as first flagellomere. Rostrum brown with brown hairs.
Thorax. Uniformly black. Notum and pleuron (fig. 7) uniformly black. Hairs on thorax white. Coxae and trochanters yellow; fore and middle femora brownish black with bases yellow, hind femur yellow with tip narrowly brownish black; tibiae yellow with bases slightly darker; tarsi yellow. Hairs on legs brownish black. Wing (fig. 9) brownish yellow, pale brown spot on stigma; veins pale brown. Venation: Sc1 ending at fork of Rs, Sc2 near its tip; basal section of CuA1 beyond fork of M and at 3/5 of cell dm; cell a2 relatively broad. Haltere length

Abdomen (fig. 7). Tergites and sternites uniformly black. Hairs on abdomen white.
Hypopygium (fig. 10). Tenth tergite black. Cercus brownish yellow. Hypogynial valve brownish yellow with base darker. Tip of hypogynial valve just beyond middle of cercus.
