Ecology: — Rare, known from two Bolivian collections: Krömer 1454 ( LPB ) and Prance 8534 ( NY ); epiphytic in humid forests; 150 m . Notes: —Most similar to M. lycopodioides but with narrower, more coriaceous fronds. Additionally, the sori in M. baldwinii are submarginal and immersed ( vs . medial and usually superficial in M. lycopodioides ).
