Males and females, 4–5 mm . Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Reid (1951) and Krapp-Schickel & Menioui (2005) . Diagnosis. Gnathopod 1 basis with facial setae. Gnathopod 2 carpus distally truncate; propodus mediofacial setal row displaced to midline. Epimeron 1 with anteroventral tuft of setae. Uropod 3 peduncle elongate. Telson apex with a strong point. Red banding on the body with black eyes. Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Without red bands on body, pink eyes. Habitat. Among sand, sponges and corals; 0–30 m . Host. Unknown. Distribution. Atlantic Ocean: West Africa ( Reid 1951 ), Brazil ( Serejo 1998 ), Morocco ( Krapp-Schickel & Menioui 2005 ).
