KNOWN DISTRIBUTION . — This species is quite common in Europe, less commonly reported from the American continent and not (yet) recorded from other continents; it is associated with beetles of the Ptiliidae family, mostly on species of the genus Acrotrichis ( Rossi & Christian 2020 ) .
