Comment: In the original description the type locality is cited as Fundador. Three localities were later identified by
Gundlach (1877: 27)
for the type series collection. The external measurements in the original description of a dry specimen agree as far as possible with those of the remeasured ZMB 2587, which is here designated as the
lectotype
. ZMB 2827 was not found by
Carter & Dolan (1978: 93)
, but was present in the collections during the research for this catalogue.
