Greece : Epirus: „Veluchi”, now called Tymphetos, 2315m ( type locality) ( Verhoeff 1901c ). World distribution. Endemic to Epirus, Greece . Remarks. This dubious species was erected based on females and juvenile males having special colouration of the collum and the following few body rings, but was never found again. Unfortunately, the colour of the MNB type material has faded during the last century. The status of this species must remain unclear until new material is collected.
