(Centro de Investigacion Jenaro Herrera, Requena, Loreto Province , Peru ) REMARKS.—The second Ecuadorian Fidicinoides species with infuscation along the ambient veins of the fore wings and hind wings and infuscation on all crossveins and veins between proximal apical cells in the fore wings. It can be distinguished from F. descampsi by the triangular male opercula, and the shorter uncal crest that starts to broaden at the base in that species. It can be distinguished from F. besti and F. brunnea by the more robust body, and the infuscation is continuous through the fore wing crossveins and proximal marginal veins. The infuscation in the wings distinguishes it from F. picea , F. pronoe and F. ptychodiropeda . DISTRIBUTION.—The species has been reported from Ecuador and Peru (Sanborn 2013; 2020b).
