Diagnosis.
Species in this group can be distinguished from species in the
analis
group by the combination of the following characters: microtrichiae on antennae starting on antennomere 4; labial palpi 3 truncate, slightly dilated and oblique [but not securiform as in
Dysanellus
or
Zackfalinus
Chatzimanolis
]; pronotum with many rows of medium/small punctures; porose structure absent on sternite VII; paramere with peg setae in a pair of rows.
