However, under Art. 10.5, Ex. 7 (a voted example) of the Vienna Code, this is a type choice made under the American Code and is to be replaced under Art. 10.5b by Hitchcock's choice ( Prop. Brit. Bot. : 152. 1929) of B. divaricata L. Wunderlin (in Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard. 63: 47. 1976) indicated Clifford material as type but this choice is pre-dated by that of Stearn.
