Distribution and habitat.
Originally described from the south coast of the Samaná Peninsula, new records extend the range to the Cabrera region on the north coast west of the peninsula. This is a region of limestone cliffs and karst ridges with cool, sheltered crevices in tropical forests. Specimens were only found on cliffs, under large boulders, and in solution pits, never under talus.
