Diagnosis.
Rovnoleptochromus
differs from all remaining Leptochromini in one unique apomorphy: maxillary palpomere II lacking cuticular projection but bearing one long bristle; and a combination of characters that, in a different set, occur in other genera: postgenae bearing long bristles but lacking cuticular postgenal processes; maxillary palpomere III broadening from base to apex and with strongly oblique apex; maxillary palpomere IV indistinctly subtriangular, broadest at base; mesocoxal cavities with carinate posterior margins; and metaventrite with a median longitudinal carina.
Composition and distribution.
Rovnoleptochromus

) comprises one extinct species known from the
Upper Eocene Baltic
(
Rovno
) amber.
