Shell moderately large, rather tall; H 5.78 mm , W 3.65 mm; protoconch rather elevated, 1.2 whorl, DP 0.22 mm ; nucleus small, DN 0.12 mm ; teleoconch with distinct subsutural ridge and groove; additional sculpture of 18 distinct spiral grooves on the body whorl; lip thick, crenulated; parietal callus with nearly obsolete lamella; posterior sinus rather deep. Remarks. This specimen is similar to Ringicula bella nov. spec. in its apertural characters, but its spire is more elevated, it has more whorls and the whorl profile is more globular. Furthermore, the spiral grooves are more pronounced, less numerous and the subsutural ridge is wider and discoloured.
