Type material: Holotype , “ Albatera / südwestlich Alicante ” ( Spain ), Oberösterreichisches Landesmuseum Linz . Distribution. Known so far only from the type locality in southeastern Spain . Pollen hosts. Unknown. Nesting biology. Unknown. Notes. Apart from the dense white pilosity that covers most of its metasoma, the female type specimen is very similar to H. hartliebi (Friese) with respect to length of proboscis and vertex. Therefore, as long as the male remains unknown it can not be excluded that the Spanish specimen is conspecific with H. hartliebi .
