Diagnosis.
Barsine flammealis
is similar to
B. pretiosa
Moore, 1879
, but it can be distinguished from them by the pattern elements on forewing upperside being from bright brick red to scarlet (those patches being from bright orange to pale red in
B. pretiosa
, rarely scarlet as in fig. 19).
