Diagnosis:
Palps 4-segmented, attached laterally, P2 with 1 distal seta, P3 without any seta, P4 with 3 setae in basal whorl. Female GA with usually 3 pairs (rarely up to 5 pairs) of PGS and 1 pair of SGS. Patella (genua) shorter than tibiae and telofemora. Tibia I with 3 ventral setae. Tibia II with generally 3 ventral setae. Tarsi I and II with dorsolateral solenidion. Paired lateral claws, small median claw. Only single nymphal stage (the protonymph) present.
