Diagnosis
Suarius nanus
is similar to
Suarius walsinghami orientalis
in having similar brownish marking at the proximal crossvein of third intracubital cell (icu3) in the forewing (
Hölzel 1978
: figs 1–2), but can be distinguished by the presence of basal dilation of pretarsal claws. No additional specimens were added in this study.
