Paratypes (not examined) INDIA2 ♀♀ ; same collection data as for holotype; NZC-ZSI, Kolkata (no register number specified) . Allotypes (not examined) INDIA3 ♂♂ ; same collection data as for holotype; NZC-ZSI, Kolkata (no register number specified). Male Unknown. Justification of the transfer Patel & Reddy (1989) described this species on the basis of male and female specimens collected in Andhra Pradesh . Although we did not examine the types of this species, the female genitalia illustrated for this species clearly show the presence of sclerotised lateral and median epigynal plates ( Patel & Reddy 1989 : fig. 1c), which allows the inclusion of this species in Laminion gen. nov. Remarks We were unable to trace out the types of S . arakuensis in the arachnid collection of ZSI, even though the authors mentioned that the types would be deposited here ( Patel & Reddy 1989 ).
