Remarks This large species is characterized by its rather inflated shape with a moderately high spire and pronounced sculpture consisting of pronounced, widely spaced axial ribs that form big, rounded knobs when crossing the broad, flattened spiral cords. The colour of the shell is uniform white, cream to yellowish. No similar species in the western Indian Ocean are known to us.
