Remarks.
The absence of specimens collected by us is probably due to our sampling effort in shallow waters. This species can be collected between 45 and
1303 m
depth, but is usually found between 200 and
400 m
.
It was recorded offshore region (
503–600 m
) of the
São Paulo
coast (
Melo-Filho 2008
). We found
two specimens
deposited in the MZUSP collection obtained during expeditions of R/V Soloncy Moura (MZUSP 15348, st. 1141,
