KSA : AL-BAHA: Qunfudah, i–iv.2011 , (MT), Coll.: S. Qahtani ( 1 ♂ , on slide, EH.1496) ( ZDAMU ). Comments. This male is very similar to the Indian species, Charitopus apicatus (Mani & Saraswat) . As noted by Hayat (2006) , C. apicatus is misplaced in Charitopus and probably belongs to some other (undescribed) genus, but as females are unknown, it is considered better to leave the Saudi Arabian specimen unidentified.
