Head distinctly shorter than pronotum; mouth­cone very elongate and slender reaching mesosternum, with slender maxillary palpi. Postocular setae all subequal in length, I to III narrowly spaced and situated at postero­inner angle of compound eyes, distance between III and IV wide ( Fig. 1 ). Antennal segment II without microtrichial rows. Mesonotum without CPS anteromedially; median pair of setae situated far from posterior margin ( Fig. 4 ). Metascutum weakly and irregularly reticulated medially; median pair of setae situated near anterior margin ( Fig. 4 ). Abdominal terga II to VIII with numerous ciliate microtrichia on lines of sculpture, smooth medially ( Figs. 5 , 7 ); tergum II with three lateral marginal setae ( Fig. 5 ); terga VII to VIII with B4 setae minute ( Figs. 6–7 ); tergum IX without CPS, with a few microtrichia at posterior margin ( Fig. 7 ); tergum X with weak slit at apex ( Fig. 7 ); sterna II to VII with 2–15 discal setae arranged almost in a transverse line ( Fig. 9 ). In male, mouth­cone and maxillary palpi shorter than in female; antennae 7­ segmented, segment VI slightly longer than that of female, with numerous setae and without microtrichia ( Figs. 2–3 ); abdominal tergum IX with posterior pair of CPS between B1 and B2 setae, SB1 setae absent; sterna II to VIII with discal setae fewer than in female ( Fig. 8 ); hypomere expanded at apex.
