Diagnosis.
Non-collapsing, lenticular head with frontal grooves in form intermediate between H and X (

), with usually large eyes with anterior orbits emarginate and distance between the eyes smallest below the antenna, with a malar space extremely narrow, lower face with H- shaped grooves delimiting clypeus and supra clypeus area (

), scrobal groove sutured, mesosoma with a distinct groove on both mesoscutum and scutellum (

), propodeum with irregular carinae and carinulae, plicae usually complete (
