Agononida schroederi
was previously reported as
Munida schroederi
(see

). Its known range is from the Caribbean to northern
Cuba
in depths of
275 to 494 m
(
Chace 1942

Baba
et al.
2008
). Only four males and three non-ovigerous females were observed in collections, from both the Gulf of
Mexico
and the Caribbean, in depths of
198 to
548 m
. These specimens were collected in February, July, August, and December.
