Diagnosis
. Size
8.6–10.8mm
. Frontal Index 5–5.9. Species easily recognizable due to the scutum and scutellum covered with lemon-yellow hairs, black legs and abdomen, subcallus smooth and shiny, orange antenna and hyaline wing with orange costal cell.

.
L
.
flavinotum
has been captured in the lower stratum of the primary forest. It attacks horses, cattle and occasionally man.
