Distribution: France , Italy and the Maghreb ( Bosmans 2007 ). First record for Portugal . Habitat type : Mostly collected in marshy areas, in fresh as well as in salt water marshes along the coast ( Bosmans 2007 ). Phenology: In the Maghreb, males were collected from December to April, females from January to August ( Bosmans 2007 ). In Portugal , the species is expected to be adult in winter as well.
