Lectotype hereby designated , male, COLOMBIA , Pacho, 2200m (Fassl); with two labels: one printed label “Pacho, Colomb. Ost Cord. 2200m , coll. Fassl”, and a handwritten label “ Saurita pilipennis Zerny ♂ type ”. One paralectotype , female, with exactly the same labels. Current combination. Saurita pilipennis Zerny, 1931 . Condition of the types . Lectotype . Wings slightly rubbed, left antenna broken. Paralectotype . Right antenna missing. Left hindwing with a slight damage near the internal margin. Remarks. This species was described from the specimens mentioned above. It most likely does not belong in Saurita Herrich-Schäffer, 1855 , which seems to be polyphyletic. It resembles many species that are currently placed in Chrostosoma Hübner , [1819], such as C. fassli Draudt, 1915 , and C. tabascensis Dyar, 1916 .
