Eusparassus lilus
Strand, 1907
nomen dubium
E. lilus
Strand, 1907: 437
(description of male, from
Java
in
Indonesia
,
holotype
in
Zoologisches Institut Tübingen
, destroyed in
World War II
).
Remarks
Strand (1907)
did not provide any drawing of the species and the description does not support any diagnostic character of
Eusparassus
. According to the known distribution range and preferable habitats of
Eusparassus
species
,
Java
is thought to be out of the distributional limits. The species probably belongs to
Olios
and this genus is proved by Jäger (2003) to occur in
Java
[e.g.
O. nigrifrons
(
Simon, 1897
)
]. The species is considered a
nomen dubium
here.
