Rondani (1880: 33)
described
Limosina simplicimana
without specifying either the number or the sex of the specimens and not giving a range of lengths, but presumably from more than
one specimen
because he reported: “
non
raro
legitur
[found not rarely]”.
Roháček (1983: 87)
designated a
lectotype
(
♀
) and paralectotypes (
1 ♂
,
2 ♀♀
), but did not mention an additional
three females
: two in the MZUF and one in the OUMNH (all are
paralectotypes
).
