CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Mintho rufiventris ( Fallén, 1817 ) ( Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993: 346 ) . REMARKS: Rondani (1847c: 70) included Mintho lacera as a new species in a key but did not provide a detailed description, number, sex or length of the specimens. He later ( Rondani 1861e: 135 ) redescribed this nominal species. We found 13 syntypes in this study.
