Males of this genus have setae ps3 lateral or posterolateral to the adanal suckers, and these suckers are weakly sclerotized (corolla smooth); females have the anterior portion of the epigynum straight (or “square”), and epimerites I without diverging tips. Five species are known in this genus ( Park & Atyeo 1971a , 1975 ), including the new one described below.
