Anemesia castanea
species group
Diagnostic characters
Males of the
A. castanea
species group resemble those of the
A. pallida
species group in possessing lateral spines on the cymbium. However, they differ from the members of the latter group in possessing a considerably longer palpal tibia and embolus (

). Females are distinguished by the specific shape of the normally entire spermathecae provided with long cylindrical stalks (see

).
