Diagnosis.
Forewing R2+3 unbranched, R4+5 dichotomously branched. M three- branched, M2 forked. Hindwing M two-branched. Phallosome concave anteriorly, aedeagal arch projected in the middle, truncate. Anterior endophallic sclerites broadly triangular, with a slender arm projected posteriorly, distally acuminate. Posterior endophallic sclerites broadly U-shaped, with a truncate mesal projection directed outward, and a posterior, curved acuminate projection, directed outward. Similar to
G. caucana
n. sp.
,
for differences with it, see diagnosis of the latter above.
Color
(in 80% ethanol). Body pale brown. Head dark brown (
Fig. 69
). Compound eyes dark brown, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; postclypeus without pigmented striae. Antennae pale brown. Maxillary palps pale brown, Mx4 dark brown. Thorax brown, tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown, with light brown spots, meso- and metapleura brown, with ochre spots. Legs: fore- coxae cream with pale brown spot basally, midcoxae brown; trochanters and femora cream; tibiae and tarsi brown. Forewings (

), brown, with cream areas as illustrated. Hindwings (
Fig. 68
), almost hyaline, light brown, veins brown. Abdomen pale brown. Clunium and hypandrium brown. Phallosome with aedeagal arch and endophallic sclerites dark brown, external parameres cream. Epiproct and paraprocts pale brown.
Morphology.
As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head: H/MxW: 1.47; compound eyes large, H/d: 4.54; IO/ MxW: 0.81. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with nine denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.16. Forewings (

): FW/W: 2.74; pterostigma long, wider in the middle: lp/wp: 4.0, areola postica tall, rounded: al/ah: 2.62. Hindwings (
