1 Snout elongate, preoral length shorter or subequal to mouth width, direct preorbital snout length less than 1.5 times interorbital space; head length less than 10 times nostril width; eye about 1.4–1.5 times nostril length; ventral head uniformly dusky, not strongly contrasted with similar dorsal coloration along its lateral margin; ventral lobe of caudal fin dusky, not strongly contrasted with rest of fin; no dark submarginal bar on caudal fin; monospondylous centra 44–45, total centra 151–154..........................................................................
