Note.
Barnard’s original description of
Leucothoe dolichoceras
is vague with only gnathopod 2 illustrated. Subsequent reports do not describe the species nor do they provide illustrations. This is likely a valid species, but examination of the
type
or topotypic material is necessary to distinguish diagnostic characters for the species.
