Distribution of Periclimenaeus pearsei (Schmitt, 1932) . Diagnosis. Rostrum very short and directed downwards not overreaching eyes. Dorsal margin with 3 to 5 teeth placed in advance of the posterior limit of orbit, ventral margin convex and unarmed. Basal segment of antennular peduncle with stylocerite short, broad and acute, not reaches the half this segment; a anterolateral spine almost reaches the half of second segment of antennular peduncle. Scaphocerite with a distal tooth not reaches the apex of lamella. Carapace with antennal spine. Mandible without palp and incisor process very reduced in length. First pereopods overreaching scaphocerite with part of carpus, fingers are slightly shorter than palm. Second pereopods strongly unequal. Major pereopod with fingers strongly curved inwards and smaller than palm, dactylus with broad teeth. Minor pereopod with finger smaller than palm, dactylus with small teeth on proximal margin. Third to fifth pereopods with bifid dactyli. Telson with 2 pairs of dorsal spines and 3 pairs of spines on posterior margin. Distribution.
