Etymology
The species is named after Thomas Borgmeier, who first recognized the species.
Diagnosis
With only one pair of bristles on scutellum; femora essentially yellow.
The female of this species was described by Borgmeier under
A. palpalis
.

series comprises
two males
from
New Zealand
, one of which I have examined in the
Museum Koenig
(Bonn). I have subsequently reported
three males

Auckland
(Disney, 1994a). I now report further males from
Tasmania
