(Gyllenhal, 1810)]. Since both names apply to taxa not considered congeneric since 1899, the case is to be referred to the Commission and meanwhile prevailing usage of both names must be maintained (ICZN 1999: Article 23.9.5).

Distribution.
This species is known from east-central Washington (Casey 1924: 134, as
Dicheirus gracilis
) south to Eldorado County in eastern California [see Noonan 1968: Fig. 16].
