Diagnosis.
The forewing pattern of
E
.
squamapanna
is similar to that of
Eudemopsis tamdaoensis
(
Heppner & Bae, 2016
)
comb. nov.
, but it can be recognized by the brown mixed with dark brown scales on the frons, labial palp, tegulae and mesonotum, whereas the scales are greyish brown in
E. tamdaoensis
(
Heppner & Bae, 2016
)
comb. nov.
Male genitalia of this new species include a large patch of modified short scales and a large membranous lobe of very long modified scales on the anterior surface of the valva, which distinguish it from other
Eudemopsis
species.
Eudemopsis fansipana
(
Razowski, 2009
)
comb. nov.
has only a patch of modified short scales, whereas
E. tamdaoensis
(
Heppner & Bae, 2016
)
comb. nov.
has only very long modified scales.
