Remarks: This largely Palaearctic member of the alpinum –species group ( McInnes 1994a ) may, in Argentina , represent a new species or belong to one of the other reported South America species ( D. ( D. ) alpinum , D. ( D. ) chilenense and D. ( D. ) stappersi ). This South American record requires confirmation.
