Hypsibius fuhrmanni ( Heinis, 1914 ) [T] Macrobiotus Fuhrmanni nov. spec. ( Heinis 1914 ) Terra typica : Colombia (South America ) Colombia : 06°16′N , 75°31′W ; 2,550 m asl : Type Locality : Antioquia Department, laguna above Medellín, hepatic ( Plagiochila ovifolia Steph. ) on dry leaves. Heinis (1914) Record numbers: Colombia : 1; total: 1. Remarks: The original description ( Heinis, 1914 ) was not sufficient to enable Marcus (1936) to attribute the species positively to the genus Hypsibius and the correct taxonomic position of this species is unclear (potentially Isohypsibius or Macrobiotus - Ramazzotti & Maucci 1983 ). With the exception of the original report ( Heinis, 1914 ) this taxon has not been re-discovered and is currently endemic to Colombia .
