Brazil
, and is not compared to any other genus. The single species is quite similar to
Apocerycta bariana
from
French Guiana
, and possibly congeneric. But the
type
species of
Apocerycta
from
Mexico
,
A. incommoda
, looks very different (especially the ovipositor).
