Comments.
Mallophora clavipes
is characterized by having the black mystax interspersed with yellow setae (
Figs 44, 46, 47
), black thorax with gray toment, yellow legs, fore and mid femora with a large dark spot on the dorsal part, hind tibiae with black apex, brown tarsi anteriorly and medially, black tarsi posteriorly, abdomen black with whitish setae that gradually diminish with each tergite and terminalia shiny black (
Figs 44, 45
).
