This species was also reported from Shogran, Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by Staven (2001, unpublished data). Acosmeryx naga subsp. naga ranges from the Himalayan foothills of Pakistan , India and Nepal , through eastern and southern China , to Taiwan , Korea and Japan , and southeast through Myanmar , Thailand , Laos and Vietnam to Peninsular Malaysia ( Pittaway & Kitching, 2013 ). It is replaced in eastern Afghanistan and Tajikistan by A. naga subsp. hissarica Shchetkin, 1956 , which may thus also occur on the northwest border of Pakistan .
