The “
megallus
group” is composed of three species characterized by the following characters: DFW with purple reflections; uncus short, about 1/3 the size of tegumen; latero–posterior apophysis of tegumen short, half size of latero–anterior apophysis, which is slightly sinuous dorsally; valva with distal projection rounded, margin serrated, and dorso–distal margin with a crested–like projection; aedeagus long, slightly curved; insertion of manica in proximal fourth of aedeagus.
