Type material of Clubiona batikanoides (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Ha2011-7), CHINA : Hainan Island , Haikou , 9.IV.2011 , leg. A. T . Barrion et al. Description and diagnosis. See Zhang et al. (2021) for illustrations of both sexes. The species is most similar to C. filoramula Zhang & Yin, 1998 ( Zhang et al. 2021 ). Distribution. China ( Fujian , Hunan , Guangdong , Guangxi , Yunnan , Taiwan and Hainan), Pakistan , India , Bangladesh , Myanmar , Thailand and Laos . Comments. Clubiona filicata is a widespread Asian species that has been extensively redescribed ( World Spider Catalog 2023 ). The female holotype of C. batikanoides is consistent in genitalic morphology with C. filicata , so we consider C. batikanoides syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of C. filicata .
