Diagnosis.
An
Amytta
species with shortened tegmina. Similar to
A. meruensis
n. sp.
and
A. abbreviata
but distinguished from
A. abbreviata
by a smaller and differently shaped median gap in the posterior margin of the last abdominal tergite (compare
Fig. 1
D and E) and from
A meruensis
n. sp.
by differently shaped male cerci (compare
Fig. 1
C and D). Also see Diagnosis at
A. meruensis
n. sp.
Etymology.
Named after Mt Hanang on which this species was first collected.
