Apterolarnaca ovala Bian & Shi, 2015 , Oriental Insects : 2, syn. nov. Type specimen: male; type locality: Damingshan , Wuming , Guangxi , China ; location of type specimen: Shanghai Entomology Museum, the Chinese Academy of Sciences . Distribution. China ( Guangxi ). Discussion. From etymology consideration, the species name is derived from Latin word truncat , Greek word lob , and masculine suffix -us meaning “roundly truncate lobes of male 9th abdominal tergite” ( Li et al. , 2015 ). After a careful examination of the type specimens of Apterolarnaca ovala , we found that the species was a synonym of Apotrechus truncatolobus Li & Liu, 2015 and Apotrechus truncatolobus should be transferred to the genus Apterolarnaca . According to the article of 34.2 the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (The Code, 1999), we replace the masculine suffix - us with feminine -a .
